Graduate Environmental Advisor

FIFO from Perth | 8 Days On, 6 Days Off | Southern Goldfields Operations

Are you ready to launch your career in environmental management within the mining industry? We’re seeking Graduate Environmental Advisors who are passionate about the environment and eager to gain hands‑on experience at an operational mine site.

Based at Westgold Resources - Southern Goldfield Operations, this is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, high‑performing team where you’ll be mentored by some of the most experienced professionals in the mining industry. You’ll gain real‑world exposure, develop practical skills, and build a strong foundation for a long‑term career.



About the Role

As part of our structured 2‑year Graduate Program, you’ll play an active role in supporting site environmental compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. From day one, you’ll be involved in meaningful work that contributes to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Environmental Management Systems.

This role is offered on an attractive 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth, providing a great balance between professional growth and lifestyle.



What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting with the implementation and continual improvement of Environmental Management Systems
  • Supporting environmental compliance, monitoring, and reporting activities
  • Working closely with site teams to promote environmental awareness and best practice
  • Gaining exposure to operational mining environments and regulatory requirements
  • Learning from experienced environmental and mining professionals through structured mentoring

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • A tertiary qualification in an environmental discipline
  • Practical experience or vacation work (highly regarded)
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • A current manual driver’s licence
  • A National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months)
  • The ability to successfully complete our pre‑employment medical and screening process
